Information

Important Information for users of wheelchairs and perambulators:
For safety reasons – above all for the protection of all visitors to the Danube Tower in the event of fire or disaster – the approval of the operating licence for the Danube Tower contains the following conditions:
- It is forbidden to transport children’s buggies in the high-speed lifts.
- Only one wheelchair user at a time per cabin may travel in the high-speed lifts to the observation platform.
A maximum of 3 wheelchair users may be present in the tower (the tower shaft and the observation terrace) at any one time, and each wheelchair user must be accompanied by another person capable of transporting the wheelchair user. Wheelchairs may not be used on the stairs leading from the observation platform to the upper areas of the tower.
We have set up a number of rostrums suitable for wheelchairs users on the observation platform to enable a better view over the balustrades.
Our staff at the cash desk would be pleased to show you the parking area set aside for children’s buggies and wheelchairs at the entrance.
We hope for your understanding in these safety measures.
Important information for dog owners:
