17th Donauturm Run Up

We proudly present the winners of the Donauturm Run Up 2008!

Fastest runner was Matthias Jahn from Germany, the fastest female runner was Andrea Mayr from Austria.

For the 17th time the 779 steps, 60 landings, 150 meters of the Donauturm in Vienna were beaten. Winner and fastest runner of the day was Matthias JAHN from Team jochen-schweizer.de (GER) with a time of 3:36.70. Winner of the fastest intermediate time at 75m was Christian RIEDL from Stuttgart (GER).

Fastest woman was like last year Andrea MAYR from SV Schwechat (AUT) with a time of 4:04.70. She also earned the prize for the fastest intermediate time of all female starters.

The prize of a flight to the Empire State Building Run Up in New York was raffled this year by the youngest participant Lia PYCHA - the only five year old girl climbed the tower in a time of 9:02:85!
