The Danube Tower is open from 10:00 am until midnight daily, excluding 24 and 31 December,  company holidays and maintenance work.

Essentially there are three price categories:

Adults

€ 14.50

Children (6-14 years)

€ 9.90

Seniors (from 60 years with senior citizen's identification)

€ 11.00

Yes, it is necessary to make a reservation for the Tower Restaurant. We are happy to accept your requests at reservierungen@donauturm.at and you will shortly be able to book your table online.

Unfortunately, we do not accept reservations for the Tower Café. There are some exceptions to this:

  • For groups of 20 people or more
  • Reservations for the Brunch buffet
  • Reservations for the Full Moon Night

There are various opportunities for you to treat yourself or others, such as the Indulgence voucher the Brunch voucher, the Full Moon Night voucher, and/or the monetary voucher.

All vouchers for services are valid for 3 years from the date of issue. After this time we will deduct a fee of € 1.50 for each voucher and year which has elapsed.

The monetary voucher is valid for 30 years from the date of issue.

You can obtain all vouchers directly from the Danube Tower (from 10 am to 11 pm daily) and you will soon be able to purchase them from the online shop.

For safety reasons, the following requirements are in place for visitors with wheelchairs:

  • Only one wheelchair may transported in a lift cabin at any time.
  • There may be a maximum of three wheelchair users on the Observation deck at any one time.
  • All wheelchair users must be accompanied by a person who is able to transport the wheelchair user if necessary.

Upon notice from the authorities the stairs leading to the catering area may not be taken by wheelchair. For this reason, visiting the Tower Restaurant or the Tower Café with a wheelchair is unfortunately not possible.

Please note that these are requirements imposed by the respective official authorities.

Our staff in the foyer will be happy to show a place where you can park your wheelchair.

For people with limited mobility, it should be noted that there are approx. 25 steps to navigate.

Unfortunately, bringing dogs into the Tower is prohibited by the authorities. When visiting the Danube Tower, please leave your four-legged best friend under appropriate supervision on the ground.

You can get to us by public transport (Wiener Linien) using the following routes: 

Option 1: with the metro line U1 (red line):
Take the U1 metro line to the station "VIC (Vienna International Center) / Kaisermühlen". Change there and take the 20A bus to the station "Donauturm"(Danube Tower). 

Option 2: with the metro line U6 (brown line):
Take the U6 metro line to the station "Neue Donau." Change there and take the 20A bus to the station "Donauturm"(Danube Tower). 

Coming from the southern motorway (A2)
A23 southeast ringroad to Handelskai – Brigittenauer Brücke – Donauturmstraße – Donauturm.

Coming from the airport
 A4 eastern motorway (airport motorway) then exit onto the A23 southeast ringroad in the direction of Handelskai – Brigittenauer Brücke – Donauturmstraße – Donauturm.

Coming from the direction of Korneuburg
A22 motorway along the banks of the Danube then exit onto Kaisermühlen (Vienna International Center) in the direction of Wagramerstraße – Arbeiterstrandbadstraße – Donauturmstraße – Donauturm.

Coming from the western motorway (A1)
Wienzeile – Schönbrunnerstraße – Margaretengürtel until Gürtelbrücke (along the Gürtel ring segment) – Adalbert Stifterstraße until Floridsdorfer Brücke – A22 motorway along the banks of the Danube then exiting onto Kaisermühlen – Wagramerstraße –Arbeiterstrandbadstraße – Donauturmstraße – Donauturm.

Coming from the southern motorway (A2):
A23 southeast ringroad to Handelskai – Brigittenauer Brücke – Donauturmstraße – Donauturm.

 

Coming from the airport:
A4 eastern motorway until the exit onto the A23 southeast ringroad in the direction of Handelskai – Brigittenauer Brücke – Donauturmstraße – Donauturm.

Please use the nearby public car parks, e.g. on Arbeiterstrandbadstraße. A limited number of parking spaces is available (charges apply) at the Danube Tower.
