Dogs

Bringing dogs up the tower is prohibited by the conditions of the operating license of the Danube Tower. Please leave your dog on the ground in the care of a suitable person.
Access is permitted for guide dogs and assistance dogs.
Please note that these regulations are part of the official approval of the operating licence for the Danube Tower and therefore no exceptions are possible. These regulations are for your own safety during your visit at the Danube Tower.

We thank you for your understanding and wish you a pleasant stay at Donauturm Wien!

Wheelchair users

For safety reasons – primarily for the protection of all visitors to the Danube Tower in the case of fire or disaster – the operating licence for the Danube Tower contains the following conditions:
Only one wheelchair user at a time per cabin may travel in the high-speed lifts to the outdoor observation platform.
A maximum of 3 wheelchair users may be present in the tower on the observation terrace at any one time, and each wheelchair user must be accompanied by another person capable of transporting the wheelchair user.

Wheelchairs may not be used on the stairs leading from the observation platform to the upper areas of the tower. Unfortunately, the visit of the restaurant and the café at the Danube Tower with a wheelchair is therefore not possible.
If you are able to walk short distances our staff at the ticket counter would be pleased to show you the parking area set aside for wheel-chairs near the entrance.
The newly constructed facilities on the gound floor – the Donaubräu, the Donaucafé and the Shop – are of course fully accessible.

We thank you for your understanding and wish you a pleasant stay at Donauturm Wien!

Baby strollers (Children’s buggies)

For safety reasons – primarily for the protection of all visitors to the Danube Tower in the case of fire or disaster – the operating licence for the Danube Tower contains the following conditions:
It is forbidden by law to transport baby strollers in the high-speed lifts of the Danube Tower. The access with baby strollers to the observation deck, the café and restaurant in the tower is therefore not possible.
Our staff at the ticket counter would be pleased to show you the parking area set aside for baby strollers near the entrance.

We thank you for your understanding and wish you a pleasant stay at Donauturm Wien!
