When the sun sets over Vienna, the Danube Tower becomes one of the city’s most beautiful viewpoints. At more than 150 m above the ground, visitors can enjoy the sunset over Vienna, the Danube, the Donaupark and the city skyline – whether from the outdoor viewing terrace, Turm Café or during dinner at Turm Restaurant.
Donauturm Garden
Donauturm Garten is the outdoor leisure area at the foot of the Danube Tower Vienna. On around 400 m², visitors can enjoy freshly prepared pizzas, Italian specialities, tiramisu, spritz variations, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, coffee and a family-friendly children’s offer – ideal for a spontaneous visit, a break in the Donaupark or as an addition to the Danube Tower experience.
Fear of Heights Workshop at the Danube Tower Vienna
April 21, 2026: The fear of heights workshop at the Danube Tower Vienna is designed for people with mild to moderate fear of heights who would like to train their confidence in dealing with height. Developed together with the Psychological Centre Phobius, the workshop combines psychological background knowledge, strategies for anxiety regulation and practical exercises at real height in Austria’s tallest structure.
