Time Together Beyond the Tower – Donauturm Team Outing

As part of the annual closure period, the Donauturm team took the opportunity to come together away from the daily work routine, take a deep breath, and bring the past year to a close as a group. The destination of this year’s outing was wintery Semmering, which offered ideal conditions for a successful day with snow, fresh air, and plenty of activity.

Tobogganing Fun, Alpine Charm, and Great Conversations

Following the shared journey, the day began with a sporty highlight: tobogganing in a beautiful winter setting, bringing fun, movement, and plenty of smiling faces. At the same time, the more relaxed part of the afternoon began with a warm welcome featuring roasted chestnuts and mulled punch—the perfect opportunity to warm up and enjoy good conversations together.

In the early evening, the culinary program continued at the Seewirtshaus, where regional specialties were enjoyed in a convivial atmosphere, accompanied by lively discussions, reflections on the past year, and thoughts about the year ahead. A special highlight was the works council raffle, with all proceeds donated to St. Anna Children’s Hospital—a wonderful gesture where every ticket was a winner.

Celebrating Together – Moving Forward Together

The day concluded on a high note with a lively party and DJ, where dancing and celebrations continued well into the evening. Shared experiences like these not only strengthen team spirit but also highlight the importance of cohesion and mutual appreciation in everyday working life.

For the Donauturm team, the January company outing has long been more than just a substitute for a Christmas party. It is a fixed part of our corporate culture—both as a thank-you for the commitment shown during the intensive peak season and as a motivating start to the new year.
