School Trips and Kindergarten Visits to the Danube Tower
The Danube Tower, Austria’s tallest landmark, offers an impressive setting for school and kindergarten groups. In around 35 seconds, the express lift takes visitors up to the viewing levels, where they can enjoy 360° panoramic views over Vienna – with visibility of up to 80 km on clear days.

Outdoor Viewing Terrace
The outdoor viewing terrace at 150 m offers open-air 360° panoramic views over Vienna, the Donaupark, Donau City and far beyond. In good visibility, the view can reach as far as the Rax, Schneeberg or Bratislava.
Indoor Terrace
The glazed indoor terrace at 155 m offers weather-protected panoramic views over Vienna. A visit is possible subject to availability, provided that the indoor terrace is not reserved for events.
Danube Tower Slide
The Danube Tower Slide is Europe’s highest slide and starts at 165 m. It adds a special thrill to a school trip or group visit.
Turm Café for 10 to 30 People
For groups of 10 to 30 people, Turm Café offers a package including admission and lift ticket, a cake of choice from the cake display, a 0.25 l non-alcoholic drink of choice and a table reservation.
Important Information for Schools and Kindergartens
We look forward to welcoming your school or kindergarten group to the Danube Tower. Please note that food brought from outside cannot be consumed in our indoor areas. Drinks and snacks can be purchased after the visit at the Donau Shop on the ground floor.
If the Turm Café package is not required, food and drinks can of course be ordered à la carte at Turm Café. Please note that advance table reservations outside the group package are not possible; seats are allocated on site according to availability.

Please register your group in advance by e-mail at welcome@donauturm.at. Let us know the date, time, number of people and group name so that we can prepare your visit in the best possible way.
Fastlane Tickets without Queuing at the Ticket Desk
For faster access, we recommend buying tickets online in the webshop. With Fastlane tickets, no additional registration is required and your group can enter directly through the turnstile. For easy invoice creation, select “business” during checkout and enter the school or group name under “company name”.
