A Festive Year-End Event at Melk Abbey
On December 2, 2025, the Danube Tower had the pleasure of taking part in the final BTB Workshop of the year, held in the festive, pre-Christmas atmosphere of Melk Abbey and the adjacent Christmas market.
More than 80 bus and tour operators as well as works council representatives from Austria and Slovakia came together for networking, exchange, and inspiration—making it a successful and atmospheric conclusion to the year.
During the workshop, the Danube Tower was presented to approximately 34 travel companies with a total of around 56 participants from the group and coach tourism sector. The focus was on the tower’s diverse range of experiences, current promotions, and tailored options for travel groups.
Interest among the participating tour operators was exceptionally high. Numerous conversations resulted in very positive feedback as well as specific inquiries regarding visit procedures, group offers, and booking options. The Danube Tower was clearly perceived as an attractive highlight for Vienna itineraries, with the special promotional rates receiving particularly enthusiastic responses.

Events such as this workshop once again highlight the importance of personal interaction within the industry—and the strong interest in the Danube Tower as a key attraction in Vienna’s tourism offerings.
