• Light and dark bread from Bäckerei Öfferl – one of Austria’s finest bakeries, renowned for quality and traditional craftsmanship.

• Extra virgin olive oil – premium quality, perfect for dipping with fresh bread.

• Spread – a regional specialty, creamy and full of flavor.

In other words: the cover charge is a culinary welcome package that greets you from the very first moment.

What if I don’t want the cover charge?

We fully understand that not every guest may wish to consume bread, spreads, or water. However, the cover charge is an integral part of our restaurant concept and is automatically set for all guests. This allows us to provide a consistent, high-quality offering from the very beginning – regardless of how much of it you personally choose to enjoy.

In fine dining, this practice is very common and ensures that you will always find the same level of quality and service. We kindly ask for your understanding that the cover charge cannot be omitted.

Many fine dining restaurants – in Vienna, throughout Austria, and internationally – work with a cover charge (sometimes called a “couvert”). It is a widespread standard that ensures you are always well taken care of, enjoying excellent products without every small item appearing separately on the bill.
