Donauturm Vienna as an Exhibitor at the BTB – Bus Travel Business Workshop “Poleposition Bus” 2025

Following the highly successful premiere of the new workshop format in 2023, the event once again proved to be a unique industry gathering for the bus and group tourism sector. Donauturm Vienna used this platform to further strengthen its position as one of Austria’s most popular excursion destinations.

A Trade Fair With a Unique Format

The BTB Workshop stands out for its innovative combination of workshop and trade fair, offering both exhibitors and professional visitors an intense and focused exchange. Numerous tourism and technical companies from Austria and abroad were present, providing comprehensive insights into current developments within the industry.

A special highlight allowed participants to test buses from leading manufacturers directly on the real Formula 1 racetrack of the Red Bull Ring—an opportunity unmatched anywhere else in Europe. The programme was complemented by an extensive bus exhibition and various tourism presentations hosted in the pit boxes of the race circuit.

Industry Meeting Point and Networking Platform

As part of the BTB Workshop, the General Assembly of the Austrian Bus Operators (WKÖ) as well as the Regional Assembly of Styrian Bus Operators took place. The event concluded with the traditional Christmas celebration of the bus tourism industry and several additional programme highlights.
