Donauturm Garten is the outdoor leisure area at the foot of the Danube Tower Vienna. On around 400 m², visitors can enjoy freshly prepared pizzas, Italian specialities, tiramisu, spritz variations, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, coffee and a family-friendly children’s offer – ideal for a spontaneous visit, a break in the Donaupark or as an addition to the Danube Tower experience.

Pizza, Drinks and Italian Specialities

Freshly prepared pizzas and Italian specialities are at the heart of Donauturm Garten. In addition to classics such as Margherita, the Danube Tower kitchen team also offers creative pizza variations with refined ingredients. The offer is complemented by desserts such as tiramisu and drinks including spritz variations, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and coffee.

Outdoor Seating at the Foot of the Danube Tower

Donauturm Garten is located in the green area behind the tower and offers around 130 seats. Thanks to the to-go concept, food and drinks can be enjoyed flexibly – directly in the garden area or in the adjoining Donaupark. Free admission makes it ideal for spontaneous visits and relaxed moments in the green.

Family-Friendly Fun for Children

Donauturm Garten is especially family-friendly. Four bouncy castles are available on site free of charge and provide additional fun for children. This makes the garden a relaxed destination for families, children and everyone who wants to combine food, drinks and leisure time outdoors.

Table Reservations and Service at Donauturm Garten

Table reservations are not possible at Donauturm Garten. Seats are allocated on site according to availability. There is also no table service: food and drinks are ordered and collected directly at the bar.

Opening Hours of Donauturm Garten

Donauturm Garten is currently open from Friday to Sunday as well as on public holidays and bridge days from 12:00 to 19:00. Daily opening during the summer holidays is planned. In case of bad weather, the garden remains closed.

Combine Donauturm Garten with Views, Café or Slide

A visit to Donauturm Garten can be ideally combined with other experiences at the Danube Tower: the viewing platform, Turm Café, Turm Restaurant, the Danube Tower Slide or the Immersive Center at the foot of the tower. This creates a varied day out for families, couples, tourists and spontaneous visitors.
