Solar Eclipse 2026 at the Danube Tower Vienna – A Look Back at a Special Celestial Event
On 12 August 2026, the Danube Tower became one of Vienna’s most remarkable locations for experiencing the partial solar eclipse. Shortly before sunset, visitors were able to watch the rare celestial event from heights of up to 170 metres, with unobstructed views across Vienna and towards the western horizon.

Developed together with the Psychological Centre Phobius, the workshop combines psychological background knowledge, strategies for anxiety regulation and practical exercises at real height in Austria’s tallest structure.
