Upgrading to Energy-Efficient LED Technology
As part of an energy-saving initiative, the illumination system used to light the Danube Tower was upgraded to modern LED technology.
Three high-pressure mercury lamps with a combined output of approximately 6.5 kW were replaced by three energy-efficient LED floodlights with a total output of approximately 0.6 kW.
This modernisation significantly reduced both energy consumption and carbon emissions.
Annual Savings
The switch to LED technology delivers annual savings of approximately:
- 20,000 kWh of energy
- 8,000 kg of CO₂ emissions
These improvements help make the operation of the Danube Tower more energy-efficient and environmentally responsible.
