However, the Punch and Judy show did not only offer performances to watch, but there was also a special opportunity to become part of the theater yourself. For the first time, a workshop was held in Donaustadt, aimed at anyone who wanted to play Punch and Judy themselves. Under the guidance of Tobias Lechner, an experienced Punch and Judy player from the Vienna Children's Friends, participants had the chance to learn the art of puppetry and stage their own Punch and Judy adventures.

The workshop took place on June 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Donaubräu. No previous experience was required, only enthusiasm for Punch and Judy counted. The participants were thrilled by the opportunity to learn directly from a professional and to immerse themselves in the world of Punch and Judy.
