Located directly in Donaupark, the Immersive Center combines innovative experiences with panoramic views, dining and other attractions at the Danube Tower.

Immersive Experiences at the Foot of the Danube Tower
At the Immersive Center, visitors can experience changing VR exhibitions and digital formats exploring history, science and culture – from ancient civilisations and the evolution of life on Earth to immersive journeys through the cosmos.
The experiences are organised and operated by external event providers.

Smithsonian’s STARRY WORLDS
From 30 September 2026, a new virtual reality experience arrives at the Immersive Center: Smithsonian’s STARRY WORLDS takes visitors on a journey from Earth to the stars, exoplanets and the Milky Way, all the way to the edge of a black hole.
The Chronicles of Prehistory
The immersive experience presents the history of Earth from the beginnings of life to the rise of humankind.
The Pyramid of Khufu
This immersive exhibition combines virtual movement and archaeological history with a digital journey through ancient Egypt.

Machu Picchu: Journey to the Lost City
The immersive VR experience takes visitors into the world of the Incas and combines virtual reality with historical content about Machu Picchu.

Tickets for the exhibitions are available online via Fever and directly at the Danube Tower ticket desk. Availability and schedules may vary depending on the exhibition.

A visit to the Immersive Center can ideally be combined with the observation deck, the Turm Café, the Turm Restaurant, the Donauturm slide or the Donau Shop.
Getting to the Immersive Center
The Immersive Center is located directly next to the Danube Tower in Donaupark and can easily be reached via the Alte Donau and Kaisermühlen-VIC underground stations.
