Wine, Dine & Art at Vienna’s Danube Tower: Fine Wines, Culinary Excellence and Art Above the City

On June 9, 2026, the Danube Tower in Vienna became the setting for an evening dedicated to exceptional wine, fine dining and contemporary art. Together with Falstaff, the Turm Restaurant welcomed guests to Wine, Dine & Art, an exclusive event that combined award-winning wines, a specially curated menu and artistic inspiration in a truly unique atmosphere.

Guests were welcomed with an aperitif high above the city, enjoying spectacular panoramic views of Vienna and the Danube. As the evening unfolded, the iconic setting of Austria’s tallest landmark provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience.

At the heart of the event was a tasting of outstanding wines from renowned Austrian and international wineries.

Participating estates included Weingut Steininger, Weingut Mantlerhof, Club Batonnage, Weingut Gesellmann, Weingut Frauwallner Straden and the acclaimed German winery Dr. Loosen. Many of the featured wines have received Falstaff’s highest ratings, including several awarded up to 100 points.

The tasting was accompanied by a carefully curated four-course menu created by Head Chef Dominik Schmidlechner and Executive Chef Andreas Widgruber, with each course designed to complement the selected wines and enhance the overall tasting experience.

Adding a cultural dimension to the evening, artist Monsieur Schabernack presented a curated selection of his works, creating a unique dialogue between wine, cuisine and art.

Combined with the breathtaking views over Vienna, the event offered guests an experience that engaged all the senses.
