Austria vs Argentina Draws Football Fans to the Danube Tower Public Viewing in Vienna
An evening filled with football, excitement and unforgettable fan atmosphere: Numerous visitors gathered at the Danube Tower Vienna for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Public Viewing to watch the Group Stage match between Austria and Argentina live on giant screens at the Immersive Center and in the Danube Tower Garden.
Hours before kick-off, Austrian football fans dressed in red and white streamed towards the Danube Tower. Many used the opportunity to meet friends, enjoy food and drinks and soak up the unique World Cup atmosphere in the Danube Tower Garden. With flags, jerseys and great anticipation, the area around the Danube Tower transformed into a lively fan zone.
